Join us as we take you step by step through our journey in urban farming. We are starting from scratch. If we can do it, so can you. We have a boatload of kids that are involved in a hundred activities. So, don't let that be your excuse as to why you cannot accomplish your to do list. Live close to your food. Hopefully you can find lots of it in your own backyard. That is our goal, and hopefully we will all learn a few things as we go!

- Roof has been shingled!
- Still priming the interior!!!
- Roof boards are all up and some felt paper
- 1/2 the roof is on and the rafters have been painted
- Started priming the inside walls!
- Primed the OSB underside of the roof prior to inst...
- Another 1/2 wall up
- A tiny bit of the roof has been attached
- Half of each side wall attached
- Rear Exterior wall has been attached
- Fixed the miscalculation, 2 sets of rafters added
- More Rafters
- Ridge Beam and a Few Rafters
- Last night we got the porch ceiling put on
- One month of chickens!

It's looking great. Now you can plan to make some more as play houses and studios, etc. You'll have a whole little village. You can even make some guest houses and then we can come and visit. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm sure when it's all done you won't want to try it again.
I know, we keep thinking, ok, 1 for the dogs, 1 for Lexi, one for the little girls playhouse, one for hockey equipment, one for bikes, the boys want one on stilts so they can act like it is a tree house, our yard will turn into a sea of shanties.
